28 environmental and public health groups sent a letter to UPS CEO Carol Tomé urging the company to commit to zero-emission delivery trucks. As the world’s largest package delivery company, UPS can raise the bar in a fossil-fuel drenched industry by replacing its iconic brown box trucks with electric trucks.
If UPS makes the switch to zero-emission trucks, that action will result in cleaner air and less climate pollution and help UPS meet its sustainability goals. In addition to national organizations, many of the groups on the letter are based in Georgia, where UPS headquarters are located.
