AMA moves forward resolution on gas stove pollution

The American Medical Association adopted a resolution this week informing physicians, health care providers and the public that cooking with a gas stove increases household air pollution and the risk of childhood asthma. The resolution recognizes the link between gas stove usage, indoor air pollution and asthma — and commits to raising awareness with members, the public and health professionals. This further underscores the need for the shift to cleaner, healthier, all-electric appliances.
