Briefing Sixth Graders on 100% Renewable Energy

Credit: Tim Austin

Today, I rode my bike to Fort River Elementary School to advise the 6th graders on their campaign to help pass the 100% Clean Act as part of their sixth grade civic literacy program. Former MASSPIRG campus organizing director Tim Austin runs the program. These students have a goal, a strategy and tactics with goals, including gathering 500 petition signatures urging Massachusetts to commit to transitioning to clean energy. The future  of advocacy looks bright!

Tell your legislator to support 100 percent renewable energy in Massachusetts

Massachusetts can and must accelerate our clean energy progress and end our dependence on fossil fuels in order to prevent the worst impacts of climate change. We owe it to our environment and future generations to transition Massachusetts to a clean, green, renewable tomorrow.   Tell your legislator to support 100 percent renewable energy.
